Corrections and removals

If something here about you is wrong, we want to fix it — quickly and without an argument.

Our response times

  • Acknowledgement: 2 business days.
  • Factual correction where our data disagrees with the Bar: 5 business days.
  • Suppression of optional contact fields: 5 business days.
  • Safety-based de-indexing request: 5 business days, sooner where the risk is immediate.

What we will do

  • Correct an error. If our record disagrees with the Bar's, ours is wrong. Tell us and we will re-fetch and correct it, and note the correction in the record's history.
  • Suppress optional contact fields. On request we will stop displaying your business phone, fax and website. We already never publish email or a cell number, and a street address is never public.
  • Honour a safety-based de-indexing request. Where there is a documented concern — a judicial officer, a domestic-violence survivor, a participant in an address confidentiality programme — we will mark the page noindex so it does not appear in search results.

What we will not do

We will not remove or hide a public licensure status, discipline history, or the dated record of a change to either. Those facts are published by The Florida Bar and are the entire public-interest reason this service exists.

If the Bar's own record is wrong, that has to be corrected at the Bar; once it is, our next daily check picks it up automatically, and you can ask us to re-check immediately.

How to reach us

Email [email protected] with:

  • your bar number,
  • the page URL,
  • what is wrong and what it should say, and
  • for a safety request, enough context for us to understand the concern — you do not need to send us sensitive documents.

You can always compare against the Bar's own profile page, which we link from every record — for example floridabar.org member profile.
